AMWF Chapter Challenge

Agnes challenges YOU! On Agnes's birthday, June 30, we will celebrate and remember Agnes Marshall Walker for her dedication to neuroscience nursing education with a day of giving. AMWF is challenging AANN chapters to see who can raise the most money! Encourage your chapter members to continue Agnes's legacy and support neuroscience nursing education by making a donation to the Agnes Marshall Walker Foundation (AMWF). Every dollar donated to AMWF directly funds grants to support education, research, and professional development. We'll send three emails throughout the day on Monday, June 30 to encourage donations. Please communicate the chapter challenge to your chapter members in advance. When making a donation online (http://amwf.org/donate), chapter members should note the chapter name in the "Tribute" section.

No donation is too small! The winning chapter will receive special reserved seating at the membership breakfast at the AANN Annual Educational Meeting in Nashville.

About the Agnes Marshall Walker Foundation

The Agnes Marshall Walker Foundation (AMWF) is dedicated to supporting neuroscience nursing through education, research, professional development, and certification to promote excellence in patient care. AMWF was founded with a generous bequeath from Agnes Marshall Walker and works collaboratively with the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses and the American Board of Neuroscience Nursing to help support neuroscience nursing education in Agnes's honor. Agnes Marshall Walker, cofounder of AANN, was a loved and respected figure in the profession of neuroscience nursing. Through her more than 40 years of nursing, educating, and leading, she retained her humor, spirit, and love for neuroscience nursing.
