We are seeking a Registered Nurse Case Manager/Discharge Planning/Utilization Review to join our team!!

  • Schedule: 8AM-4:30PM, M-F**

Registered Nurse Case Manager/Discharge Planning/Utilization Review at Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington:

The RN Case Manager oversees discharge planning and utilization review at BOSHA, including:

  • Coordinating safe discharges and post-acute placements.
  • Ensuring compliance with CMS/Medicare requirements.
  • Reconciling patient status, orders, and payer authorizations.
  • Completing InterQual reviews, authorizations, and managing denials/PCRs.

Education/License:

  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in TX
  • CCM preferred

Required Experience:

Required Experience:

  • One to three years' experience in Case Management.

Required

1 year Utilization Review and Acute Care experience required.

  • Relevant clinical experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate competent communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, Private Insurance and TDSHS standards.
  • Basic computer knowledge. Word and Excel preferred
  • Possess the ability to make independent decisions and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
